How Tutorqi works.
Simple on purpose. One tutor, one student, one class, every week.
Tell us the class
Use the booking form. Tell us the course, grade, and anything going on: a test coming up, a grade slipping, a teacher who moves fast.
We pick your tutor
A tutor who knows that exact course, at the right level, with openings that fit your schedule.
Free 30 minute trial
A short session on real class material. You see how the tutor explains things before deciding anything.
Weekly lessons, tracked
A regular time slot each week with the same tutor, and a support team keeping an eye on progress all year.
What you need
A laptop or tablet with a camera and a reasonably steady internet connection. Lessons happen over video with a shared online whiteboard so both the tutor and student can write and draw. Students can share homework by uploading a photo or sharing their screen.
Who our tutors are
Every tutor is matched to specific courses. An AP Chemistry student works with a chemistry tutor who knows the AP framework. An Algebra 1 student works with a tutor who is patient with foundations. We do not send a general tutor to cover whatever comes up.
Following the school, not replacing it
Tutoring works best when it supports what is already happening in class. Your tutor asks for the syllabus, the class notes, and the test calendar, and plans sessions around them. When AP exams get close, sessions shift toward timed practice with released College Board questions.
More than a tutor: a support team
Tutoring is only part of it. Between sessions, our support team runs a simple loop that most tutoring skips.
Worksheet
A practice set on the topics from this week's class, sent every week, or whenever your child asks for one.
Marked by hand
Every answer is checked, including the working, not just the letter they circled.
Score report
A written report: score by topic, what the work shows, every lost mark grouped by its cause, and how to fix each one.
Retest
A short retest built only on the weak spots, with a worked answer key for parents.
The score report is the heart of it. It is not a number and a smiley face. It shows the score for each topic, what the student's work shows they are good at, every lost mark grouped by the reason behind it, and the fix for each one. Blank questions are called out too, because running out of time or confidence is a different problem from not knowing the content.
Then comes a short retest built only on the weak spots, with a worked answer key so parents can see what a full credit answer looks like. The tutor sees the same report and plans the next session around it.
Start with one lesson.
Tell us the class and what is worrying you about it. We pair your child with a tutor who knows that exact course and set up a free 30 minute trial session at a time that works for your family.
